Supporting pupils in exams

School pupils who struggle with reading and writing can be at a big disadvantage in exam situations. The regulations that govern exams encourage the use of technology to help pupils become independent learners and to better prepare them for further study and later life. That’s where we come in. We help pupils at all levels with easy-to-use computer reader and spell-checker software to boost confidence, accuracy and achievement in written exams.

For exams and assessment

The Read&Write family of multi-platform literacy support tools provides a level playing field for students of all ages in schools and colleges taking examinations and assessments. Offered in partnership with the Examination Officers' Association, Read&Write is the preferred computer reader for exams throughout the UK, making examinations accessible for students with dyslexia or other reading difficulties.
